BIOSOURCED AND GEOSOURCED MATERIALS

A DECARBONIZATION SOLUTION THAT IS ALREADY REVOLUTIONIZING THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

💡 Construction today accounts for 43% of France's annual energy consumption and generates 23% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions according to the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion/Ministère de la Transition Energétique, making it one of the sectors with the greatest impact on climate change. Faced with the urgency of the ecological transition, it is imperative to innovate to decarbonize the sector.

What if the solution lay in building systems based on bio- and geomaterials?

As a pioneer in this field, ESTP is committed to supporting students, researchers and industry in the transition to sustainable construction using bio- and geosourced materials.

🔎 To give new visibility to its research-innovation activities, ESTP will be publishing several position papers on key themes in construction transitions. Don't miss our next issue!
